Mr Arudou on Thursday described Hatoyama as the "former PM" but, just as he made a mistake about not realising Aso was still PM until the Diet voted in a new PM even though he had lost the general election, Hatoyama was still PM until Friday.

Good grief, even by his usual standards, the latest Just Be Cause on Futenma is an epic fail. I don’t have time for a full analysis tonight, so here’s just the obviously wrong highlights.
